What is Rubber N’ Road?

New York City's only independently owned cycling collective, Rubber N'Road's mission is to connect New York cyclists with the global cycling culture. We’ve partnered with emerging, independently-owned cycling brands from around the world to offer a curated selection of products that we love and believe in. Each of the brands we partner with strive to produce the highest quality products under first-world working conditions with an emphasis on sustainability. What brands do you carry?

We have partnered with brands that we genuinely care about and want to support in the US market. Each of our brands meet a certain criteria that we have agreed upon and upheld since the inception of Rubber N’ Road. We’re absolutely thrilled and privileged to work closely with each of our partnered brands, and communicate regularly with. Our apparel brands include Isadore, MAAP & Q36.5. The bike brands we represent are Factor & Festka. We also represent FINGERSCROSSED, Kask, KOO and Team Kitchen.

Do you have a physical storefront in NYC where I can check out products and try stuff on?

Our showroom and specialty coffee bar in NYC is now open. We are located at 466 W 51st Street (near 10th Ave). Our store hours are Tuesday - Sunday, 8:30am - 6:00pm. Please note we do not have a changing room or public restroom to try clothes on, however we do offer free 30-day returns on full-priced, unused items. Do you service and fix bikes?

We do not currently offer bike mechanic services.

The item I want is out of stock, how can I order it?

You can always contact us regarding any item on our website, however you may click “Notify Me When Available” to receive an email when the sold out item you’re interested in returns to stock.


I placed an order, but have not received a shipping confirmation with tracking information. How can I find my order status?

We strive to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, however it may take a few extra days for us to ship the items to you. Because we source products from across the globe, it can sometimes take a few business days for the items to arrive at our NYC HQ from the warehouse. As a local business, it’s simply impossible for us to hold local inventory of all products, sizes and colors featured on our website, which is why some items will ship from the warehouse. The COVID-19 Pandemic has further contributed to limited staff and efficiency of shipping services, which results in some delays. Our Free Economy Shipping can take an estimated 7 - 10 business, in some cases it can take less days, sometimes more. We truly appreciate your patience and we strive to offer you artisanal and difficult-to-get products that we use and love. If your item is not fulfilled within a day or two, this is likely the case. We typically ship via USPS as it is most often the fastest and most reliable service, plus we love the postal workers of USPS, they’re always super nice! Do you ship internationally?

At this time we are only able to ship within the USA.

I am trying to purchase a bundle of jersey, bib shorts and socks, but the bundle discount is not being applied to my cart. Can you help me fix that?

Yes, occasionally there’s a backend error where certain payment types such as PayPal and Apple Pay disable the automatic bundle code from apply. The easiest solution is to checkout normally, and we will manually refund your 15% bundle discount to your original payment method.

How does same-day NYC delivery work?

We offer same-day NYC delivery on apparel and accessories in most of Manhattan and Northern Brooklyn. To view if an item is available for Same Day NYC Delivery, select your size on the product page. If the item is available for same day delivery, an icon will appear that reads “Available for Same Day NYC Delivery: Yes.” We will do our best to deliver orders placed before 2:00pm EST the same day, while orders placed after 2:00pm EST will be delivered on the next business day. Same day deliveries are dropped off Monday - Thursday, after 6:00pm. You’ll receive a call or text from us when your order is en route to your address. The minimum order amount for same-day delivery is $120. While we strive to provide the best possible customer service, same day deliveries aren’t guaranteed and might be subject to delays depending on weather, capacity, and product availability.


I would like to return or exchange an item, what’s your return policy and how can I do that?

We accept returns and exchanges on new, unused items with original packaging up to 30-days from the date of purchase. We offer free 30-day returns on full-priced items. Items that were purchased with a discount, or were on sale, and are being returned for a refund will incur a $7.99 shipping and handling fee. Items that are being exchanged, regardless of being full-priced or on discount will receive free shipping and handling. If you’re returning an item, your refund will be processed as soon as we receive and inspect your item to ensure it is in new, unused condition.
