OVERVIEW

The paired down elegance of this frame hides the kind of perfection every cyclist desires. The balance struck here involves no compromise. Maximum performance, low weight, comfort and stability at high speed make riding a Scalatore a truly unique experience. In designing the Scalatore, Festka partnered with the European Space Agency and the Czech Technical University forming a collective of experts and enthusiasts who designed a carbon fiber frame unlike no other. Where the vast majority of carbon fiber bikes are designed through a monocoque (or single) mold, Festka’s carbon frames are designed in individual tubes and weaved together using robots that assure a level of precision and accuracy far greater than the human hand. Festka’s carbon frames are comprised of the same manufacturing processes used in aerospace technology, where precision and attention to the finest details is paramount and critical.

The Scalatore is an incredibly lightweight, stiff and comfortable bicycle that will carry you to new heights and enable you to achieve things you never thought possible. The Scalatore is available in rim and disc brake models. Additional colors and custom geometry are available as an upgrade for an additional fee.

GEOMETRY

Festka bikes are available in two geometries, Sport and Race. Sport offers a more relaxed, endurance-oriented riding position while Race places the rider in a lower, more aggressive, and more aerodynamically efficient riding position. Custom geometry is of course available for an addition cost.

FESTKA’S CARBON FIBER TECHNOLOGY

Carbon fibre composite tubes are the core building material of every Festka frame. Produced to the technological standards of the aircraft industry, these tubes bring Festka bicycles into close kinship with modern jets. Every tube is made of one continuous fibre of carbon filament, eliminating air bubbles, seams and joined fibers. The CNC automated axial fibre laying (AFL) machine technology ensures unparalleled quality of every tube produced. The possibility to weave the tubes of individual fibers gives us nearly unlimited engineered design options and allows us to optimize the tubes to virtually any specifications.

FESTKA Bicycles are truly one-of-a-kind. Each FESTKA is built specifically for the rider. Your FESTKA will typically be delivered 6 months after your order is placed, however, due to overwhelming demand, it is possible that your FESTKA bicycle may ship over 6 months after placing your order.
